Five new alkaloids from the stem bark of Daphniphyllum macropodum.
Five new alkaloids, daphnicyclidins M and N (compounds 1 and 2) and calyciphyllines Q-S (compounds 3-5), along with four known ones, paxiphylline C (6), macropodumine B (7), macropodumine C (8) and daphnicyclidin A (9) were isolated from the stem bark of Daphniphyllum macropodum. Calyciphylline Q (3) is the first calyciphylline A derivative possessing a double bond between C-18 and C-19. Their ...
متن کاملYuzurimine from of Daphniphyllum macropodum Miq.
The title compound, C(27)H(37)NO(7), is a Daphniphyllum alkaloid isolated from a branch of Daphniphyllum macropodum Miq. All of the five-membered rings adopt envelope conformations while the six- and seven-membered ring adopt chair conformations. Classical inter-molecular O-H⋯O and weak C-H⋯N hydrogen bonds are present in the crystal structure.
متن کاملDaphnioldhanins A-C, alkaloids from Daphniphyllum oldhami.
Three new Daphniphyllum alkaloids, daphnioldhanins A-C (1-3), along with four known ones, were isolated from the aerial parts of saplings of Daphniphyllum oldhami. The structures of these alkaloids were established by spectroscopic methods. The relative configuration of 1 was further confirmed by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. In addition, the (1)H and (13)C NMR data of the free b...

Two new quinoldione alkaloids, methyl 2-(3-hydroxy-1-methyl-2,4-dioxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinolin-3-yl)acetate (1) and 3-hydroxy-1-methyl-3-(2-oxopropyl)quinoline-2,4(1H,3H)-dione (2), and two quinolinone alkaloids previously synthesized but first isolated as natural products, N-methylflindersine (3) and 4-hydroxy-3-methoxy-1-methyl-2(1H)-quinolinone (4), were isolated from the stem bark of Micr...
متن کاملAlkaloids of Strychnos usambarensis Stem Bark.
Strychnos usambarensis Gilg (Loganiaceae) is one of thé three most widely distributed African species of Strychnos L. In East and South Africa thé plant grows as a small tree 3-15 m in height. In several other localities in East Africa, as well as in Zaïre, Congo, and West Africa, it is found as a climber up to 70 m long (1). The only other morphological différence between thé two forms is thé ...
